FARGO, N.D. – To celebrate the 125th anniversary of the Fargo Public Library, area residents are welcomed to join them for a special event.
On Saturday, from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m., a birthday party-themed open house will take place at the downtown Main Library, located at 101 4th Street North.
All ages are welcome to this free event which will feature a curated display of photographs and memorabilia, book-themed crafts, live music, behind-the-scenes tours and light refreshments.
Later this month, they’ll also host a Trivia Night: History Edition event at 6 p.m. at the Main Library.
The evening of questions that will test your knowledge of United States history — from the signing of the Declaration of Independence to the founding of the Fargo Public Library. The event will also feature special questions about last year’s 1975 time capsule opening, which offered a glimpse into life 50 years ago.
The event is open to individuals or teams ages 15 and older, with prizes available for top winners and snacks.
