Fargo School Board considers new school on Horace Mann site

FARGO, N.D. – Fargo School Board members are set to vote Tuesday night on a $45 million plan to build a new school on the Horace Mann site.

The proposed Kindergarten through fifth grade school would consolidate students from Horace Mann, Roosevelt and Madison elementary schools. Roosevelt and Madison would be closed after the new school is built.

The new building is designed to serve over 400 students.

Construction would take place over the next two school years. Affected students will temporarily attend nearby schools.
