Attempted murder charges filed in relation to Downtown Fargo shooting

UPDATE – Thirty-seven-year-old Gregory LaCroix has been charged with attempted murder and aggravated assault in connection with a Downtown Fargo shooting last Thursday.

 

FARGO -A man wanted in connection with a shooting in downtown Fargo early Thursday has been arrested. Gregory LaCroix, 37, was arrested in downtown Fargo just before        5:00 p.m. Thursday. He is facing attempted murder and fleeing charges and is being held in the Cass County Jail.

The person who was shot suffered serious injuries. Police say the two knew each other. The victim’s name has not been released.

The shooting happened at 3rd Ave. North and Broadway just before 2:30 a.m.  LaCroix then fled the scene.
