Fargo, N.D. – Fargo’s Capstone Classical Academy is starting to expand their student body following the opening of their new school facility this year.
Doors officially opened at the new Christian school building for part of the previous academic year back in January, and will see more new faces in the hallways and classrooms this fall.
“We have about 70 new students [enrolling],” Headmaster Paul Fisher told The Flag’s Steve Hallstrom. “We keep about 95-percent of our students year over year.”
During their first school year which began in 2022, Fisher says 120 students were enrolled, with 220 students in the building this past school year.
The student population will now exceed 300 students for the 2025-2026 school year.

“We’re really pleased with that growth rate,” said Fisher. “It’s been a manageable one.”
While calling it a tremendous blessing, Fisher says you have to be “careful about maintaining your culture on that journey” and ensure new students are welcome.
“How do we make sure families feel at home and how do we make sure the culture doesn’t shift,” said Fisher. “Because we [are starting to] get a big school feel instead of it being personal where the parents feel connected and the students feel known.”
Fisher says they plan to add a 10th grade this fall, and will also introduce junior varsity level sports down the line as the student body gets older.
