Fargo, N.D. – Flag Family News has learned four people, who include the city’s communications chief, have resigned from Fargo’s Communications & Governmental Affairs Team.
A source with knowledge of the situation tells Flag Family News that Gregg Schildberger, who is the chief communications officer, deputy chief communications officer Katie Ettish and two other supervisors announced they are leaving the department effective on Sunday August 17th at 11:59pm.
The city has collectively come under fire over the handling of public information revolving around the deadly August 3rd shootings.
Flag Family News did not immediately hear back from Schildberger for comment.
