Folkways co-founder Joe Burgum on The Flag’s What’s On Your Mind with Scott Henne
FARGO, N.D. – Folkways, in partnership with VFW Post 762, will host a public ribbon cutting and dedication ceremony Thursday for a America 250 Mural in downtown Fargo.
“We’ve put up a 30-foot mural that reimagines American traditional tattoo art in larger than life murals really celebrating the history of America,” co-founder Joe Burgum said on The Flag’s What’s On Your Mind.
The ceremony begins at 11:30, with a formal program at 11:45.
According to Folkways, the mural was created to honor American history and veteran service as the nation marks its 250th anniversary of independence. It connects Fargo-Moorhead to this historic milestone while creating a permanent civic landmark that strengthens community pride through public art.
