FARGO, N.D. (Valley News Live) – A former executive director of Presentation Partners in Housing made her initial court appearance after being charged with felony theft.
Cheri Gerken is accused of using a company credit card for unauthorized purchases.
Court Documents show that from January 1, 2019, to November 10, 2023, Gerken spent $267,280. In those expenses, $42,028 was identified as having an “identifiable business purpose”, $88,698 had an “unclear purpose”, and $136,554 was not supported by management or vendors.
Gerken’s initial court appearance resolved what her bail would be. Gerken will be back in court for her preliminary hearing on June 26 at 1:30 p.m.
