FARGO, N.D. (Valley News Live) – A former principal in the West Fargo Public Schools who had pleaded guilty to three federal charges related to child sex abuse has been sentenced.
The Federal Court sentenced David George to 40 years in prison and 20 years supervised probation on September 8, accepting the plea agreement.
George had pleaded guilty to transportation of a minor, distribution of images depicting sexual exploitation of children, and possession of images depicting the sexual exploitation of children.
The former Independence Elementary Principal and Cheney Middle School Assistant Principal was arrested back in August of 2023 on child sex abuse material charges. George resigned that same day.
