Fourteen ND counties eligible for disaster loans because of drought

NORTH DAKOTA – Over a dozen North Dakota counties are eligible for federal disaster loans.

The U.S. Small Business Administration announced low-interest loans are available to small businesses and private nonprofit organizations impacted by recent droughts.

The Economic Injury Disaster Loan program will help with financial losses related to the disaster that started April 15th.

People in the following counties can apply for the loans:

  • Adams
  • Billings
  • Bowman
  • Burke
  • Divide
  • Golden Valley
  • Grant
  • Hettinger
  • McKenzie
  • Mountrail
  • Sioux
  • Slope
  • Stark
  • Williams
