HARWOOD, N.D. – A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 17 for an unclaimed Vietnam War veteran at Fargo National Cemetery.
Sergeant Clifford Hurly Brenner, who served as a Green Beret medic in the Army from 1966 to 1969, will receive military honors at noon. According to Fargo American Legion Post 2, Brenner served in Vietnam from 1967 to 1968 and earned numerous commendations including a Combat Medical Badge, National Defense Service Medal and Vietnam Service Medal.
The Fargo Memorial Honor Guard will conduct the service.
