GRAND FORKS, ND – Crews are beginning to clean up after the weekend’s storms in the northern Red River Valley.
John Bernstrom, Public Information Officer for the City of Grand Forks, said the city crews will be making their way through town to pick up tree branches. He says that work will begin on Wednesday and wrap up next Tuesday, August 5. Residents are asked to put their downed branches on the berm for pickup. The schedule for pickup will mirror the city’s street maintenance schedule.
Additionally, residents are advised they can haul their branches to the city’s landfill free of charge. The free drop-off at the landfill will also end next Tuesday.
