GRAND FORKS, ND – A Grand Forks pharmacist accused of stealing approximately 15-thousand dollars of stimulants waived his preliminary hearing and pleaded not guilty.
Brayden Peter Joseph Trontvet is facing a number of charges including theft between ten-thousand dollars and 50-thousand dollars.
The owner of Walls Medicine Center and another pharmacist said they learned Trontvet had been stealing controlled substances for almost a year. The owner alleges theft was done by several methods, including by entering a prescription and creating a label for it, printing the label then canceling the prescription within seconds to make it seem like it was never filled.
He’s since bonded out of jail and is due back in court in February.
