GRAND FORKS, N.D. – Grand Forks Police have arrested the suspect in an attempted robbery at a business earlier this week.
Police say 30-year-old Logan Winkler, of Brocket, was arrested and charged with attempted robbery in connection with an incident at Discontent on Wednesday. No further charges are expected, according to police.
Police say Winkler entered the store holding an envelope. He handed the employee the envelope containing a note demanding money and indicating he was armed. He left the establishment a few moments after presenting the note to the clerk and fled the scene without obtaining any money.
Police were unable to locate Winkler immediately after the incident.
