FARGO – A suspect in a Grand Forks shooting has been arrested in Fargo.
The Grand Forks Police Department, on Monday, said 28-year-old De’angelo Cortez Brent was arrested by Fargo Police.
On Sunday, Grand Forks Police responded to the 500 block of 4th Avenue North after receiving several 911 calls reporting gunshots in the area at around 4:30 a.m. When responding officers arrived, the located a male victim suffering from a gunshot wound. That victim, now identified as 27-year-old Antonio Delon Lock, of East Grand Forks, was transported by ambulance to Altru Hospital for treatment of his injuries. Police say the extent of the injuries are unknown at this time.
Witnesses had reported possibly seeing a dark colored sport utility vehicle leaving the area.
Cortez Brent is facing charges for attempted murder, aggravated assault, terrorizing, reckless endangerment and criminal mischief.
