Greg Clark announces Fargo school board reelection bid

FARGO, N.D. – An incumbent on the Fargo school board is running for reelection.

Greg Clark announced earlier this week that he’ll seek a second term on the school board. First elected in 2022, he currently serves as chair of the school board’s Planning Committee and as vice chair of the Communications, Engagement, and Advocacy Committee.

“The long-term success of Fargo Public Schools will continue to be my top priority,” Clark said. “I’m committed to providing excellent and equitable education for all students, honoring the contribution of educators, and responsibly managing the community’s tax dollars.”

As the board’s Planning Committee chair, Clark spent the last year leading the board’s efforts to reduce spending and bring the budget back into balance for a sustainable financial future.

“This community’s largest investment into Fargo’s future is in the education of our young people,” he said. “This demands transparency and accountability from the school board, and I’m committed to delivering on that. And I don’t take that commitment lightly.”
