BINFORD, N.D. – The Griggs County Sheriff’s Office says a plane has reported being lasered while over a field near Binford.
The act is a federal crime. In 2025, 19 laser incidents occurred in North Dakota, according to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
“Thankfully, no harm came to those operating the plane or the plane itself,” the Sheriff’s Office said.
The person or persons who allegedly committed the crime have not been located.
