FARGO, ND – Hector International Airport’s new parking garage structure is now open.
It’s a four-story structure with 1,000 parking spaces, according to Shawn Dobberstein, Executive Director of the airport.
“We are in a transition now,” he said. “All drop offs and pickups are taking place in the first level of the parking ramp.”
The vehicle lanes in front of the passenger terminal are closed until February. This is due to the construction of the skyway that will connect the parking ramp to the passenger terminal.
“Pay attention to the signage that will direct you where to park or where to drop off/ pickup,” Dobberstein said.
Some construction-related items are still unfinished, he said.
A ribbon cutting is scheduled for August 19 at 2 p.m. in the parking ramp.
