WEST FARGO, N.D. – A City of West Fargo spokesperson tells Flag Family News Immigration and Customs Enforcement reached out to West Fargo Police asking to use the department’s public parking lot.
Manager of Public Information Addie Stewart said federal law enforcement called the department asking it to use the parking lot at 800 4th Avenue East on Thursday, Jan. 15 “for a short period of time” but didn’t say how long. She didn’t answer Flag Family News’ question on if the city or Police Chief Pete Nielsen approved the request.
“There was no additional written communication received or sent about the ICE activity. The West Fargo Police Department was not involved in any ICE operations in the metro,” Stewart wrote in an email.
