Juvenile suffers injuries in West Fargo accident

WEST FARGO, N.D. – A juvenile suffered injuries in an accident involving a vehicle Tuesday evening.

It happened shortly after 5 p.m. in the intersection of 36th Avenue East and Veterans Boulevard, according to West Fargo Police.

Upon arrival, officers discovered a juvenile female had been struck by oncoming traffic while in a crosswalk. Through further investigation and multiple witness statements, it appears that the juvenile entered the intersection on a ‘Don’t Walk’ signal and was struck by a vehicle traveling southbound.

No one has been cited.

The juvenile was taken to the hospital with injuries.
