MOORHEAD, MINN. – Delegates to Clay County’s Republican Party precinct caucuses have made their choice in the caucus night straw poll for Minnesota’s governor.
Former Republican candidate for Governor Kendall Qualls garnered the most votes in Tuesday night’s straw poll of delegates to the Clay County convention, according to Clay County GOP Chairman Rodney Johnson. He finished ahead of House Speaker Lisa Demuth, who was in Moorhead on Monday as a part of her statewide tour to get out her message ahead of Tuesday night’s caucuses.
My Pillow inventor and CEO Mike Lindell finished third.
Johnson tells Flag Family News that this year’s turnout was much larger than two years ago.
“Two years ago, we had bad weather,” he said. “And there’s a lot more people fed up with (the) Democrat leadership and the immense fraud going on in our state.”
