Fargo, N.D. – The Fargo Police Department is making the public aware of more training exercises that are planned in the city this week.
On Thursday May 8th, the Red River Valley SWAT Team will conduct two sessions during afternoon and evening hours.
The first will take place in the 600 block of 23rd Street North from 12 to 3 p.m.
The second will be carried out in the 600 block of 28th Street South from 6 to 9 p.m.
The public is told they may see team members carrying weapons and walking around buildings in those areas.
No live rounds will be used, but you might hear the shouting of commands and loud noises, along with seeing team vehicles with emergency lights flashing.
