West Fargo, N.D. – Authorities arrested a man accused of trying to run from police during a traffic stop Friday morning in West Fargo.
Just after midnight, officers tried to pull over what they called a ‘suspicious vehicle’ along 16th Street East near 14th Avenue East.
Police say 48-year old Brian Allen Mondor of Fargo stopped briefly to talk with cops, but then suddenly drove off.
Police then followed Mondor for several minutes until they made physical contact with his vehicle and disabled it along 17th Street East, where Mondor jumped out and ran but was quickly captured.
On top of allegedly running from police, Mondor is facing a number of charges including for having a concealed weapon, driving with a suspended license and other outstanding warrants.
