WAHPETON, N.D. – A man is dead after suffering a self-inflicted gunshot wound early Sunday morning in Wahpeton.
Police say a call was received at 1:30 a.m. reporting a person had been shot at the Fryn’ Pan Restaurant on Dakota Avenue in Wahpeton.
When police officers and sheriff’s deputies arrived on scene, they located the man who had been shot. They say he was pronounced dead on scene, and no one else was injured.
While police and sheriff’s deputies are continuing their investigation, they say there’s no threat to the public.
