(Fargo, ND) — A Moorhead man is facing felony drug charges after a bust in the city Wednesday, June 12th.
Moorhead police officers, with assistance from the Cass County Drug Task Force, the Clay County Sheriff’s Office, the Drug Enforcement Administration, and Fargo police officers conducted a search warrant in the 200 block of 16 Street South.
According to a news release, an active investigation led detectives to the conclusion that Cory McKay was trafficking large quantities of controlled substances.
During the execution of the warrant, detectives located approximately ten pounds of methamphetamine, which had been transported from out of state for local distribution.
McKay was taken to the Clay County Correctional Facility.
There is no word yet on a court date for McKay.
