Minnesota infant gets botulism in relation to recalled baby formula

UNITED STATES – Minnesota sees one case of infant botulism linked to recalled baby formula.

The case of the rare but serious illness has been seen in 15 cases across 12 states.

The outbreak has been linked to the By Heart Whole Nutrition infant formula.

Those infected range from 16-days-old to six-months-old. All have been hospitalized.

No deaths have been reported.
