FARGO – The Fargo Police Department says a missing elderly person was found Wednesday afternoon.
Flag Family News had learned that there was a officer and group of people searching a field in an area near 32nd Street and 52nd Avenue South on Wednesday afternoon.
Fargo Police Neighborhood Services Lieutenant Matt Siders says officers learned of the report of the missing elderly person while on a different call in the 3700 block of 55th Avenue South.
“Officers searched the area and were eventually able to locate the person,” Siders said.
He said the missing person is a vulnerable elderly adult who is part of a care center. Although confused, the individual was able to make their way back to the care center from the call location and was determined to be safe and unharmed.
