EAST GRAND FORKS, MN – The Minnesota Department of Transportation is announcing the continuation of bridge inspections along the Red River in East Grand Forks.
On Monday, they’ll conduct an inspection of the Sorlie Bridge, connecting Grand Forks and East Grand Forks on Demers Avenue. Then, on Tuesday and Wednesday, they’ll inspect the Kennedy Bridge, connecting the two cities via Highway 2 and Gateway Drive.
Motorists can expect short term delays during this work from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. There is a twelve-foot width limit in effect. Head-to-head traffic will also be present.
