MOORHEAD, Minn. – The Moorhead woman charged with killing her 20-month-old son has her bail set at one million dollars.
Thirty-two-year-old Valerie Zamora is charged with second degree murder in the death of her son, Jose.
Officers were called to a home on the 1100 block of 18 1/2 Street in Moorhead for a child not breathing.
The department says Zamora was taken to a Fargo hospital where he died. The Ramsey County Medical Examiner says Zamora’s death was because of homicide.
A Korsmo Funeral Service obituary says Zamora always looked up to his big sister and big brother. The family is holding a private funeral.
