MOORHEAD – Police in Moorhead are launching a new way for the public to submit tipis anonymously – from their phones.
It’s called tip411.
The tip411 app creates a two-way line of communication between the public and the Moorhead Police Department, allowing residents to anonymously share information that can assist in solving crimes and enhancing public safety across the community. It’s for non-emergency use only, as tips may not be immediately reviewed by police.
There are three ways to submit a tip: by texting the keyword TIPMOORHEAD followed by your message to 847411, by downloading the Moorhead Police Department app or by submitting the information on the police department’s website.
