MOORHEAD — A Moorhead woman has been arrested on assault charges after an early morning incident.
Police were called to the 1800 block of 20th Street South at 1:45 a.m. to assist Sanford Ambulance with a medical call.
Officers learned through the investigation that there was evidence of an assault. A 53-year-old female victim was transported to a local hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
Maryssa Cooley, a 22-year-old Moorhead resident, was arrested and is currently held at the Clay County Jail for Felony Third Degree Assault and Misdemeanor Domestic Assault.
