Motorcyclist, passenger injured in Sunday crash in Hawley

HAWLEY, MN – Two people were injured when a motorcycle hit a sign in Hawley on Sunday afternoon.

The Minnesota State Patrol says the crash happened just before 5 p.m. on westbound Highway 10 near 225th Street North in Hawley.

According to a report, a motorcycle, driven by a 64-year-old Fargo man, was westbound when it collided with a sign. The man and his passenger, a juvenile, were taken to Essentia Hospital in Fargo with non-life-threatening injuries.

The Patrol was assisted by Hawley Police and Fire, along with the Clay County Sheriff’s Office.
