GRAND FORKS, ND – A motorcyclist has been hospitalized after a crash Thursday in south Grand Forks.
The Grand Forks Police Department says crews were dispatched to the area of 32nd Avenue South and 31st Street South shortly after 6 p.m. on a report of an accident involving a vehicle and a motorcycle.
Multiple 9-1-1 callers stated there were serious injuries and the truck was fully engulfed with flames.
The investigation shows 18-year-old Jordan Anderson was driving a motorcycle east on 32nd Avenue South as a pickup, driven by 48-year-old Samuel Turner, was westbound and attempting to turn onto 31st Street South.
The motorcycle struck the pickup and was lodged underneath.
Anderson suffered severe, incapacitating injuries and was taken to the hospital. No one was injured in the pickup.
