GRAND FORKS, N.D. – North Dakota House Minority Leader Zac Ista has announced he won’t seek reelection.
The Dem-NPLer has represented Grand Forks in the House since 2020 when he was appointed to fill out State Representative Matt Eidson’s term.
“Serving Grand Forks in the North Dakota House of Representatives is a great honor. The work is important and rewarding. It also demands substantial time away from my family, which is an especially difficult sacrifice while my children are young,” Ista said. “That is why I have decided not to seek re-election in 2026. I am deeply grateful to my constituents, and I look forward to serving District 43 through the end of my term.”
