NORTH DAKOTA – Oil prices are up at least $8 a barrel since the United States and Israel bombed Iran.
On The Flag, North Dakota Petroleum Council President Ron Ness said 20 years ago, before oil was being pumped in The Bakken, our country imported 56% of our oil. He believes it would have been difficult back then to choose to carry out military action against Iran.
“We would’ve never dared do it because what it would’ve done to our economy. Oil prices would’ve been $300 [a barrel],” Ness said on “What’s On Your Mind?”
