Narcotics operation in Naytahwaush, Minn. leads to five arrests

NAYTAHWAUSH, Minn. (Valley News Live) -The White Earth Tribal Police Department executed a narcotics‑related search warrant in the village of Naytahwaush on Thursday, Dec. 11, resulting in five arrests.

According to a department statement, two adults Bradley Auginaush and Daniah Goodwin were taken into custody on charges of drug possession and for outstanding warrants. Two other adults Shayna King and David Roy were arrested on allegations of child endangerment and drug possession. 31‑year‑old Bruce Auginaush, Jr. was arrested on a charge of first‑degree drug possession with intent to sell; the department said Auginaush, Jr. has been arrested multiple times in the past eight months on distribution‑related charges.

The department said a separate search warrant was executed near the home of one of the arrestees on the same day. Investigators have asked anyone with information about criminal activity to come forward.

The White Earth Police Department was assisted in the operation by multiple agencies, including the Paul Bunyan Drug Task Force, the FBI Headwaters Safe Trails Task Force, the Mahnomen County Sheriff’s Office, the Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office, Bemidji Police Department, the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension and the Hubbard County Sheriff’s Office.
