ND Drilling completion waivers offered amid low oil prices

NORTH DAKOTA – North Dakota oil and gas regulators can apply for completion waivers due to volatile oil prices.

The Industrial Commission approved the same waiver used during the COVID-19 pandemic to provide companies with financial relief.

Regulators can postpone oil extraction operations until prices improve with WTI Crude trending around North Dakota’s break even point of $60 per barrel.
