NORTH DAKOTA – North Dakota is considered one of the most dangerous states for travel during Independence Day.
Data shows the state is the third-worst for crashes during the holiday with an average of 12 each year.
The Highway Patrol says it will increase enforcement next weekend watching for impaired drivers.
Troopers say 35 vehicle deaths have already happened this year in North Dakota with alcohol involved in seven of them.
