West Fargo, N.D. – A popular program to keep more impaired drivers off the road through ride-sharing partnerships is coming back to the Red River Valley Fair.
‘ND Sober Ride’ is a state program that teams up with the fair and Lyft to offer discounted rides from the fairgrounds to Fargo and West Fargo between July 4th and the 13th.
Anyone with the special code can save $10 off rides from the fair during that period.
The designated pickup spot for the ND Sober Ride program will be at Gate 3 North Gate Lot.
The code will be available starting on Independence Day.
You can type in ‘VZRRVF25’ in the Lyft app to receive the lower fare.
“We’re incredibly grateful for our ongoing partnership with Vision Zero,” says Erin Fons, Director of Marketing and Partnerships for the Red River Valley Fair Association.
“Lyft discounts encourage our fairgoers to make the responsible decision to get a safe, sober ride home after enjoying the 10 Best Days of Summer.”
The codes are sponsored by AAA, which is The Auto Club Group of North Dakota.
