North Dakota – North Dakota’s unemployment rate dropped slightly in July.
Job Service North Dakota says the rate, which is not seasonally adjusted, stood at 2.6% that month. The rate dropped one-tenth-of-one-percent since June.
The department notes that the state typically sees a ‘moderate decease’ in unemployment during those months.
The state’s rate is also two percentage points lower than the national jobless rate, which stands at 4.6%.
And the seasonally adjusted rate for July looks even better.
Job Service says North Dakota’s 2.5% jobless rate for that month is the second lowest in the United States, right behind South Dakota.
