(WEST FARGO, ND) – A 34-year-old Valley City man has been arrested after a crash Tuesday between a vehicle and train in West Fargo and charged with DUI.
The North Dakota Highway Patrol says 34-year-old Shane Rabensberg was injured in the crash Tuesday morning in the 400 block of 12th Avenue Northeast. The Highway Patrol says a BSNF train was crossing the tracks in the area with the cross arms down and several vehicles stopped when a westbound pickup, driven by Rabensberg, drove the wrong way and struck the train.
Rabensberg’s pickup was dragged approximately 100 feet and came to rest along the tracks. He was transported to Sanford Hospital with injuries.
