New measles case reported in Pembina County

BISMARCK, N.D. — North Dakota’s Health and Human Services Department is announcing an additional measles case.

The new case is in Pembina County, where there are now six cases. A Williams County case brings the state’s total to seven.

Two individuals have been hospitalized, and five of the cases involve adults over age 19.

HHS says people contagious with measles were in public places in Fargo, Grand Forks, Cavalier, Walhalla and Colfax from February fourth to March fifth.
