FARGO – The Fargo School Board will choose a new name for its northside elementary school.
The decision will come at Tuesday’s school board meeting.
Five names were determined as finalists by the school board at its meeting earlier this month, out of a total of 437 submissions. The 437 names were initially narrowed to 29.
The finalists are Prairie Rose, Horace Mann, North Star, Martin Luther King Jr. and Unity Elementary.
The new facility is set to open in the fall of 2028.
