New principal set to take over at Fargo’s Davies High School

FARGO, N.D. (Valley News Live) – Fargo Public Schools has announced the assignment of Sean Safranski as principal of Davies High School.

Safranski is currently serving as an assistant principal at Davies, a role he has had since 2013.

His career in education began in 1999 as an eighth grade Earth Science teacher at West Fargo Middle School.

From 2004-2013, he was the principal of Shanley High School and Sullivan Middle School in the John Paul II Catholic Schools Network.

Safranski holds a Bachelor of Science in Earth Science Education from the University of North Dakota and a Master of Educational Leadership from North Dakota State University.

He will assume the position for the 2025-2026 school year on July 1 from Troy Cody who is leaving for a role in the private sector.

Fargo Public Schools announced Cody’s resignation on May 9.
