No injuries after apartment stovetop fire in downtown Fargo

FARGO, N.D. (Valley News Live) – Fire crews were called in to put out an apartment fire early Thursday in downtown Fargo.

Fargo Fire received a call at approximately 1:49 a.m. for smoke coming from an apartment in the 500 block of 3rd Avenue North.

Upon crews arrival, smoke and fire were coming from a stove in an apartment unit.

The fire was extinguished and contained to the stove area.

Nobody was home at the time and no injuries were reported.

The cost estimate of the damage is estimated to be less than $2,000.
