FARGO, N.D. (Valley News Live) – North Dakota appears in newly released documents from Jeffrey Epstein’s files, revealing a 2012 email from a senior executive at a major agricultural equipment manufacturer who contacted the convicted sex offender while visiting the state.
Eduardo Teodorani, an Italian Businessman and senior vice president of CNH Global N.V., is named more than 600 times throughout the publicly available Epstein files released under the Epstein Files Transparency Act.
As of this writing, Teodorani has not been accused of any wrongdoing.
Among those documents is an April 10, 2012 email in which Teodorani reached out to Epstein while in North Dakota.
“Hi master. How are you I am in USA in north dakota looking upon new invetment,” Teodorani wrote to Epstein’s email address.
CNH Global N.V. is a major manufacturer of agricultural and construction equipment. The company operates a plant in Fargo, though it’s unclear what specific investment Teodorani was referring to in his email.
The message, forwarded to Epstein by his assistant Lesley Groff three days later, also asked when Epstein would be coming to Europe and mentioned Teodorani had “something interesting to show you.”
Jeffrey Epstein was a financier and convicted sex offender who died by suicide in federal custody in August 2019 while awaiting trial on federal sex trafficking charges. He had previously been convicted in 2008 of soliciting prostitution from a minor in Florida and served 13 months in jail.
The Epstein Files Transparency Act led to the public release of thousands of documents related to Epstein’s activities and associates. The files have revealed connections to numerous high-profile individuals across various industries.
While Teodorani’s name appears extensively throughout the released documents, the 2012 email appears to be among the few direct mentions of North Dakota in the files.
The email provides no additional context about the nature of Teodorani’s visit to North Dakota or the investment he mentioned.
