FARGO — One person suffered non-life-threatening injuries after a reported shooting early Sunday morning in Fargo.
Police were called to the 1100 block of 3rd Street North for a report of gunshots before 2 a.m. There were several callers who heard the shots in the area, and witnesses described several people in dark clothing running from the scene, and a dark colored vehicle that ran a stop sign in the area.
Police located a vehicle a short time later in the 400 block of NP Avenue matching the description and made a traffic stop. Several juveniles were located in the vehicle and several firearms were found and seized.
Two 17-year-olds and a 16-year-old male were detained and taken to detention for unlawful possession of handguns.
The injured male went to a local hospital with a gunshot wound to the foot.
The investigation is ongoing.
