One person seriously injured in crash during morning fog in Moorhead

MOORHEAD, Minn. – At least one person was seriously hurt after a crash during the height of Wednesday morning’s dense fog in Moorhead.

Minnesota State Patrol says the crash took place around 7 a.m. on Highway 75 and 28th Avenue North.

The crash involved two vehicles and slowed down traffic for a time in that area.

While the crash remains under investigation, Sergeant Jesse Grabow says the vehicles were heading in opposite directions, as one “attempted to turn in front of the other.”

Grabow says “occupants involved in the crash were transported by ambulance to Sanford in Fargo.”

According to earlier information sent out by MSP, three people were inside the vehicles when the crash took place.  Two of those people suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

Grabow also noted that “conditions at the time [of the crash] were foggy.”

The Clay County Sheriff’s Office, Moorhead Police Department, Moorhead Fire Department and Sanford Ambulance also aided in the response.
