UPDATE – Police say a person of interest in a stabbing at the Bison Inn and Suites has been arrested on an unrelated warrant.
Twenty-four-year-old Garret Morin of West Fargo was arrested for a warrant for a probation violation. In 2022 Morin pled guilty to accomplice to reckless endangerment with a dangerous weapon in Cass County Court after being charged with that crime and conspiracy to commit aggravated assault. He was sentenced to 90 days in jail with 13 days served and three years of probation.
Authorities say the suspect and victim involved in the stabbing know each other, no more information is releasable and this is an active investigation.
FARGO, N.D. – A person is taken to the hospital after a stabbing at a Fargo hotel.
Officers responded around 6:30 Friday morning to the Bison Inn and Suites on the 3000 block of Interstate Boulevard near Interstate 29 and 13th Avenue South. A person was taken to the hospital for serious but non-life threatening injuries.
Flag Family News asked Fargo Police if a suspect has been identified or arrested and if anyone else outside or inside the hotel was threatened. Police say there is no threat to the public, this is a developing incident, no additional information is releasable and the department will provide an update when it becomes available.
