WEST FARGO — A PIT maneuver ended a pursuit in West Fargo on Saturday afternoon.
At just after 3 p.m., West Fargo Police Department attempted to stop a vehicle near the 1600 block of 9th Street East for a traffic violation.
The driver, Sheldon Ray Erickson, a 43-year-old male from West Fargo, fled after officers attempted the stop. The pursuit sent officers southbound from the area.
The pursuit ended a short time later in the 1900 block of 9th Street East.
Erickson was arrested for fleeing in a motor vehicle, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and issued a citation for speeding.
