Plane lands safely at Hector International after reporting landing gear issue

FARGO, N.D. – A plane landed safely Friday afternoon after reporting possible issues with its landing gear.

Fargo Airport Authority Executive Director Shawn Dobberstein tells Flag Family News the private aircraft reported the issue as it was five minutes away from landing at the airport.

City spokesman Archie Ingersoll said fire crews were dispatched to the airport at 1:20 p.m., but were returned to their stations after the plane landed safely at the airport. The department was dispatched to ‘a possible aircraft emergency.’

Dobberstein said the plane taxied to parking, and no one was injured.
